B.S. in Mathematics

Secondary Teaching Concentration (Licensure Grades 7-12)

Pure and Applied Mathematical Sciences Concentration

Assistant Professor Mathematics Education

Katie Morrison
Assistant Professor School of Mathematical Sciences
Katie Morrison earned her PhD in mathematics in 2012 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 并于同年加入博天堂官方数学科学学院. She focuses on 代数编码理论及数学在神经科学中的应用. Gulden Karakok
Associate Professor
Dr. Karakok的研究重点是数学和数学学习的迁移 creativity at tertiary level. Most recently, she published a book chapter titled, Exploration of Students’ Mathematical Creativity with Actor-oriented Transfer to Develop Actor-oriented Creativity, 谁提出了一个理论框架来探讨迁移的交叉性 and creativity research constructs. With her research group (CRG), they are in the last stages of our their NSF-funded project on exploring creativity in Calculus courses.
