A variety of residence halls, Arlington Park Apartments and university-owned houses are available on campus. Each building has its own character, environment and personality.

Living on campus means you'll have many opportunities to meet new people, appreciate new cultures and backgrounds, make life-long friends, develop interpersonal skills and develop a sense of community. Living on campus is also a way to develop life strategies and gain independence while having added conveniences that will make your transition to college life as smooth as possible.

UNC's residence halls, apartments, and university-owned houses offer all UNC 学生 a great place to call home. UNC has great options for first-year 学生, transfer 学生 and 学生 returning to campus, as well as graduate and extended campus 学生. Living on campus helps you get integrated into the campus community, and you will live close to your classes and campus resources. UNC also offers unique programs in our residential facilities including Residential Learning Communities, Faculty in Residence, Coaches in Residence, pet-friendly housing options and gender-inclusive housing spaces in nearly all of our facilities. Live On Campus Requirements

First-year 学生 with fewer than 20 college credit hours earned after high school graduation, who are under 21 and are not living in the local area with their legal 《博天堂官方网站》 are required to live in UNC's housing system through the completion of their first academic year. 

Living in the local area form  Petition for Release

  • Credits earned through Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) or concurrent enrollment with high school do not apply
  • Local areas are: Ault Highland RE-9, Eaton RE-2, Greeley 6, Platte Valley RE-7, Poudre R-1, Thompson R-2J, Weld County RE-5J, Weld RE-1 and Windsor RE-4

 Flexible 住房 Options

We understand that 学生 need flexibility in their living situation, and that is why 住房 & Residential Education has options for 学生 who need to arrive early to campus, summer housing while taking courses, or need short-term housing until a lease opens.
